If you come directly from the Sydney CBD, it is better to take a 30-minute bus ride (route 333) rather than drive as parking can be tricky.Although Tamarama is rarely crowded, getting there early is the best way to grab your preferred spot on the sand. If you plan to go swimming, it is a good idea to check rip tide conditions beforehand. The beach is patrolled from early morning until the evening every day.If you continue along the Bondi to Coogee Walk from Tamarama Beach, you’ll soon arrive at Bronte Beach, a gorgeous stretch of sand framed by sandstone cliffs that is a locals’ favorite for swimming and sunbaking and home to the Bronte Baths, an ocean pool carved into the cliffs.
