Our journey involved navigating through numerous narrow one-way paths as we attempted to locate the destination specified in our GPS for the voucher exchange—a process necessary for obtaining our physical tickets. It's important to note that arriving directly at the lift without this step is not advisable. Furthermore, we experienced extremely poor cellular reception in the mountainous area, which compounded our difficulties. Upon requesting a refund due to these issues, our request was unfortunately denied. Based on this experience, I have decided not to utilize Tratoli's services in the future.

The overall journey is remarkable, presenting a truly worthwhile adventure. Those opting for a route from Alpnachstad can also claim the thrill of the world's steepest cogwheel train ride, as we learned during our trip. However, we chose to return to Kriens where we had parked, and therefore did not experience this unique train ride.

Embarking on a picturesque journey from Zurich to Lucerne, I reveled in the charm of Lucerne's old town and then proceeded to the Mt. Pilatus ticket office. I recommend securing your gondola and cable car passes in advance - this streamlined my ascent, taking me from Fräkmüntegg all the way to the summit with ease. While some of the Fräkmüntegg attractions were closed on account of the rain, the weather cleared enough for me to venture up the stairs for an awe-inspiring mountain panorama. A note of caution, the stairs can feel a bit unstable, so tread carefully. The day’s adventure was rounded off with a scenic descent to Kriens via the funicular, followed by a calming train ride back to Zurich. This tranquil and stunning experience was organized through Tratoli, and I must say, it was entirely worth the journey.
