Our scenic adventure, courtesy of a travel package from Tratoli, was absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the investment! The journey to the summit involved a thrilling trip on three separate gondolas/cable cars, and once we reached the altitude of 7,000 feet, we were rewarded with breathtaking views from above the clouds. The lunch experience at the Pilatus Hotel lived up to high expectations with its top-notch offerings, although it's worth noting that it was a bit on the pricier side. Despite the thoughtful addition of sheepskins for the outdoor seating, the cool temperatures persuaded us to dine indoors. To my surprise, the gondolas also seemed to be a hit among canine companions – it was quite a sight to see so many dogs enjoying the ride! Adding to the mountain's charm were a duo skillfully playing alpine pipes amid the snow-capped peaks, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.
