Top Things To Do In Grand baie

Experience with Tratoli's travel package was fantastic — from the attentive team to the island's pristine beach with crystal-clear waters. This charming destination also offered a rare treat of whale sightings during our excursion, enhancing the adventure. Our underwater exploration was nothing short of magical, with an array of vibrant fish greeting us while snorkeling. Unfortunately, we had a bit of a rough sea journey to the island, as large waves caused seasickness among us. It seems like we just had a spell of unfortunate weather. Nonetheless, the Tratoli team managed the situation with exceptional care and professionalism, ensuring our overall experience was positive.

I had a fantastic experience with the travel package arranged by Tratoli. Yaassine, our guide, was incredibly cordial and informative, sharing comprehensive details about the island and the various locations we explored. He was also quite flexible, willing to adapt the itinerary to suit our preferences. I highly recommend taking this tour if you're interested in discovering the southern part of the island.

My trip, arranged via Tratoli, began smoothly with a seamless hotel pickup, but quickly faced challenges at the quayside. The attendant who was accountable for organizing the guests appeared to lack organization, which led to confusion about our inclusion on the guest list. Despite the rocky start, we pursued the catamaran by speedboat after missing its departure. Once aboard, the crew shone with professionalism, thoroughly briefing us on the amenities and the detailed agenda. Although I witnessed a captivating waterfall adorned with local monkeys, my anticipation for the snorkeling adventure fell short as the coral reef, plagued by bleaching and a scant fish population, did not meet expectations. The culinary experience onboard, however, was a delight with its appealing presentation and tasteful selection. The island visit offered more scenic beauty but, much like the earlier snorkel site, delivered an underwhelming underwater experience. A mix-up with the return transport added to the day's frustrations as the original driver was replaced without notice, causing unnecessary anxiety until the new driver identified himself. In summary, while certain aspects of the journey provided enjoyment, the outing was marred by disorganization and the letdown of the snorkeling experience.
