Our private tour, arranged via Tratoli, commenced with a smooth pickup from the cruise terminal. Unforeseen road closures prevented us from visiting the Chamarel Geo Park as initially planned. Instead, we were diverted to the Valle des Couleurs Park, which, in my opinion, felt more like a tourist trap than a natural wonder. Although our entrance fee was covered, the park staff persistently offered upsells such as jeep tours, ATV rides, and ziplining adventures. We opted to simply explore on foot, aiming to marvel at the park's famed colored rocks; however, the sight was underwhelming. On a positive note, the lunch provided was enjoyable, and we had some leisure time to relax and watch the mesmerizing waves. Thankfully, our guide was proficient, ensuring that we reached the airport punctually for our departure flight.
