Discovering a charming retreat amidst an eclectic neighborhood, I had the pleasure of experiencing a travel package arranged by Tratoli. This hidden gem unfolded as a stunning medina, brimming with artisan shops and demonstrating exquisite restoration, which showcases the area's rich cultural tapestry. Such a delightful escape indeed offers a contrast to its vibrant, yet unrefined surroundings.

Our delightful excursion was seamlessly arranged through Tratoli, starting off with our guide, Isham, who was punctually just after the scheduled pickup time. His vehicle was immaculate, and his demeanor welcoming and warm. With a group comprising English, French, and German speakers, Isham's ability to communicate and share information in all three languages was impressive as we explored each destination and landmark. Our first stop was a scenic riverbank, perfect for wildlife and birdwatching, where our cozy party of four expanded to six. We were then treated to a captivating pottery demonstration, marveling at the artist's precision without the need for measurements. Although the fisherman's village we visited next was no longer standing, the journey there was an exhilarating off-road adventure across sandy terrain, with the occasional bumpy ride adding to the excitement. The adventure continued with a jaunt across dirt tracks to modest dunes, offering us the opportunity to climb and soak in the panoramic views. For those interested, there was even a chance to experience a camel ride. Dinner in a hillside village was a cultural feast, featuring Chicken tagine, bread, couscous, and fresh oranges, all enjoyed in a communal style, true to tradition. Our return trip included fascinating stops at a dam and an argan honey shop before we were comfortably delivered back to our hotel. It's important to note that the vehicles accommodate up to six passengers, so those seeking more personal space might prefer a private tour. Additionally, the communal dining experience is executed with individual serving spoons for hygiene, yet it may not be to everyone's taste. Throughout the trip, Isham was an exceptional driver, blending humor with interactive commentary, always ready to point out things of interest and respond to any questions. Our experience may have differed slightly from the original itinerary, but it was unquestionably valuable and left us with no regrets. Overall, it was a tour well worth the investment, making lasting memories of our journey.

Embarking on a desert adventure is a quintessential experience during a Moroccan holiday, with an overnight stay heightening its allure. Booking with Tratoli guarantees a seamless and memorable journey, meticulously organized to ensure comfort and excitement at every turn. Upon setting foot in Morocco, you're equipped with a handy app provided by the travel company, enabling you to fine-tune your itinerary with extras like a camel trek and offer immediate access to support. The expedition commenced with punctual hotel pickup, and we relished the comfort of a private, air-conditioned van. Our guide, Rachid, was exceptional – knowledgeable, accommodating, and striking the perfect balance between engaging us and allowing family moments. A pottery shop en route afforded a non-obligatory shopping opportunity before we savored a delightful lunch and beachside leisure at Legzira. The camp greeted us with welcoming tea upon arrival after a scenic drive. The evening unfolded with tranquil sunset sandboarding sessions amidst the dunes, followed by a sumptuous dinner of salad and tagine around a cozy campfire, serenaded by music under an awe-inspiring starlit sky. The camp provided simple accommodations with tents for two, toilets, and rudimentary shower facilities. As nights can be cool, packing a sweater and warm trousers is wise, along with a power bank for charging devices. An early rise at 7 a.m. rewarded us with a stunning sunrise, coupled with a fresh breakfast to energize the return journey. Pit stops in Tiznit, the 'Silver City,' and a Massa restaurant for another round of delectable tagine and couscous sprinkled extra magic on the trek back. While a freshening break at our hotel was appreciated, the subsequent camel ride would have been more enchanting had it taken place amidst the desert sands – the sole suggestion for improvement on this otherwise unforgettable adventure. Travel tip: Carry sufficient cash for personal expenses, as only dinner and breakfast are provided at the camp.

I had the pleasure of embarking on a comprehensive southern Agadir tour, courtesy of Tratoli. Our journey included delightful stops at quaint fishing villages boasting pristine beaches and a visit to the city of Tiznit. We relished a sumptuous lunch at a traditional restaurant right on the sandy beach of Legzira, offering authentic and delectable cuisine. Our adventure took us through the enchanting Legzira for lunch, the intriguing Little Sahara, and the reservoir that presented us with stunning views and a breathtaking sunset. There were numerous opportunities for photo-taking and exploring local wonders. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour—a 100% must-do experience!
