A couple of suggestions for future travelers: first, be sure to bring a jacket. Our September trip revealed a surprisingly brisk and damp boat ride. Secondly, be prepared for a leisurely pace, as the experience involves considerable sitting—about 3-4 hours of driving with breaks and a two-hour round-trip boat ride.
