My advice to fellow travelers is to consider alternate tour operators for a more reliable and enjoyable journey. Here's why: - Post-payment, ETT's responsiveness drastically diminished. Before making full payment for their services, their communication was great, answering all inquiries promptly. However, after receiving my payment, my emails and WhatsApp messages were consistently ignored. - Unreliable local guides were provided by ETT, reducing the quality of my experience. I encountered a significant delay of 1.5 hours by a guide for a scheduled tour. On another occasion, I was offered a partial refund due to an altered itinerary, which was not honored. - ETT charged for services that were not delivered. Although a three-day Danakil Depression tour was agreed upon and paid for, only a two-day tour was provided, and my request for a partial refund due to this discrepancy was left unanswered. - Misinformation and withheld details marred the trip.
