Worth building an evening around
The glass hull was designed to echo the wooden dhows that built the city's first fortunes, and the auditorium converts between theatre, concert hall and flat-floor event space. Even without a ticket, the plaza between the Opera and the lake is one of Downtown's best evening strolls — fountain shows on one side, the tower directly overhead.
