If you're considering a trip, make sure to aim for favorable weather conditions, as I learned the hard way when my visit to Table Mountain was foiled by windy weather that halted the cableway service. Although the ticket to the cableway, purchased separately, was valid for a week, my schedule only allowed one more attempt. Fortunately, the next day the gondolas operated despite overcast skies. Reaching the peak was a success; however, the view was completely obscured by clouds. I must commend the trip planned by Tratoli and our resourceful guide from Get Your Guide. The expertise of our guide shone as he meticulously arranged our journey to the Cape of Good Hope, ensuring we saw Chapman's Peak and the charming penguins when the weather seemed optimal for sightseeing. He cleverly scheduled our lunch break to coincide with a window for the clouds to clear at the lighthouse, allowing us the chance to enjoy the funicular ride.
