Our tour organized by Tratoli was an exceptional experience with guides Jeff and Ransom, who expertly led our adventure. Despite some choppy seas during our ride out, Ransom skillfully maneuvered the boat. Our journey began with Ransom fishing for bait, setting the stage for a productive day as we ventured to multiple fishing spots. Our catch included various snapper species, though we responsibly released one that serves an important role in maintaining reef health. Both Jeff and Ransom excelled at preparing our fishing gear, instructing us on effective angling techniques, and identifying the fish we reeled in. Our next stop was a snorkeling haven, a favorite of Jeff's, where the expansive, vibrant reef surpassed those we'd seen in other countries, bustling with a multitude of fish. The highlight was witnessing two majestic stingrays gliding through the water. The serenity continued on Bread & Butter Caye, a picturesque destination for rest, lunch, and absorbing the scenic beauty, complete with an amiable local dog for company. There, Ransom and Jeff prepared a fresh feast from our catches as we observed more wildlife, including several birds and additional stingrays by the cleaning station. The day was undoubtedly memorable.
