My husband and I experienced the captivating Antibes city tour, an offering we booked through Tratoli. At 12 euros per adult, the day pass provides the flexibility to hop off, explore local sites, and then catch a later minibus to resume the tour. Additionally, a two-day ticket is available for 15 euros (2020 prices). The journey begins near the tourist office, featuring three more stops; however, the driver could do better in announcing each one. Commentary is available via headphones in multiple languages, but maxing out the volume is necessary for a clearer listening experience—it's still quite faint. The monotonous narration requires keen attention to avoid dozing off, as the historical detail might be excessive for some. The city tour, which now replaces a small train that has been discontinued for over two years, shows off Antibes' impressive panoramas that are a visual feast. However, for those with visual impairments, the tour may be less engaging. The service, beginning just a month ago, is still ripe for enhancements. Currently, with only one bus in operation, if you disembark at an intermediate stop, a 1.5-hour wait is needed before you can continue your journey on the next minibus. This aspect of the service could certainly benefit from improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
