Dios, our knowledgeable multilingual guide, was impressive, fluently conversing in four languages and expertly answering every inquiry thrown his way. Viewing and touching authentic dinosaur footprints was a mesmerizing moment, undoubtedly a standout memory of the excursion. The tour also included a unique opportunity to stroll along ancient Inca trails, over 300 years old, culminating with a delightful lunch set inside a crater. I enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone looking to venture out from Sucre for a day filled with history, nature, and unforgettable encounters.

We secured a travel package via Tratoli, initially set for the 10th of January, but a flight cancellation compelled us to request a modification. When we rebooked for the 11th of January, the service provider, Joker Espedicion Bolivia, unexpectedly canceled on us without any notification. Undeterred, we arranged for another tour on the night of the 12th of January, with a hotel pick-up included in the plan. Unfortunately, no one arrived to collect us, and there was no communication from the company whatsoever. The experience was utterly disappointing, prompting me to give a zero-star rating. I'm now faced with the task of obtaining refunds for the botched arrangements.

Our Tratoli-booked adventure was impeccably structured, with the highlight being our guide Liroy – a veritable guardian angel. His kindness, patience, and photographic skills truly made our experience memorable. However, one significant oversight occurred: the lack of transparent communication regarding our transportation. It was unexpected to learn we would be shuttled on a 7-hour local bus ride to Uyuni, with an interim hotel stay before commencing the tour, and then returned via another lengthy bus journey to Sucre. Clarity on these logistics was absent in the tour description. Additionally, the La Paz office's customer service was displeasing; the staff member's unprofessional handling of our inquiries and his threat to cancel our booking were unacceptable. Future interactions with tourists should embody professionalism to enhance the overall quality of the experience.
