I had the pleasure of having Sam as our guide; he provided an exceptional experience, leading us through the diverse terrain of dirt, rocks, and foliage. Make sure to wear shoes with ample traction! As we explored, Sam educated us on the rich variety of flora and fauna that surrounded us. The highlight was visiting a quaint, family-owned coffee farm, where we immersed ourselves in the coffee-making process and enjoyed a delightful tasting session, with the option to purchase their aromatic coffee to take home. The adventure continued with a hike to a serene waterfall pond, where we could cool off with a swim (I recommend bringing water shoes for comfort). Our journey progressed to an enchanting 2pm lunch at Jungle Joe's, a delightful bamboo restaurant/hostel ensconced in the forest, where we indulged in a tasty meal. The experience was enhanced with engaging talks on local wildlife and a hands-on cacao making demonstration, topped with a hot cacao drink, and even the chance to craft our own cacao bars. The day was filled with enjoyment and learning - a must-do for any traveler. Don't forget to pack plenty of water for the trek!

Standing at 5'3", I had no trouble handling the Honda XR motorcycles, which were in top condition with brand new tires. As someone with minimal experience on off-road terrains and none on sand, I was astounded by how my confidence soared in all riding conditions—be it rain, highways, or navigating through rocky paths and windswept trails while avoiding goats and overtaking vehicles. Immersed in the local culture, we found ourselves captivated by a nearby coffee and fruit farm, where the highlight was savoring a sumptuous cup of freshly brewed coffee, boasting the authentic taste of the region.
