Unfortunately, we were not informed that the Capital stop was not in service or that there wouldn’t be subsequent trolleys to collect us from various stops after disembarking. Consequently, we explored the wharf upon leaving at stop 5, enjoyed the James Bond exhibit at the Spy Museum, then proceeded to stop 7. It was there we learned that no more trolleys were running, as the last one had reached stop 11. Although the company proposed dispatching a trolley to transport us back to our starting point at stop 1, it wouldn't allow us to visit other attractions and entailed a 30-minute wait. Opting out of the wait, we walked to the Washington Monument and ultimately decided to use Uber to continue our sightseeing adventure.

Service delays were significant, with upwards of 40 minutes for beverages and a staggering 90-minute wait for starters—the aforementioned prosciutto, which we refrained from consuming. Although the main course followed promptly and the dessert impressed, the overall pacing was notably inconsistent. Celebrating dual milestones, my niece's 13th birthday and my own 27th, the ambience fell somewhat short of our expectations. For those considering the atmosphere, the cruise adopts a lively, festive tone that crescendos into vibrant music, potentially unsuitable for young audiences. The balance of excitement and relaxation might be disrupted by the raucous revelry and lengthy waits. Despite the mixed experience, stunning sunsets and breathtaking views provided some solace. Observations suggest that experiences may vary among guests, with some seemingly reveling in the festivities more than others. Therefore, while elements of excellence were present, there remains room for improvement to ensure a uniformly delightful experience commensurate with Tratoli's promise of premium cruising adventures.

Upon my arrival at Union Station for tour information, I encountered no staff assistance despite it being past 9:15 am. Subsequent phone calls advised us to board at any stop, yet once at the Spy Museum, it was revealed that this location was no longer serviced. Further communication necessitated an inconvenient trek to the Wharf area to finally catch the trolley. Regrettably, excessive time was spent coordinating logistics over the phone, which, compounded by the sweltering heat, proved to be highly inconvenient. Given these challenges and the inadequate service provided, the $149.00 price tag felt excessive.
