From travellers who booked experiences in Kuwait City with us.
I had a rewarding experience appreciating the intricacies of the oil and gas industry through the exhibit, which I found engaging and educationally enriching. Witnessing the quantity of oil Kuwait extracts every second was an absolutely fascinating highlight. It's noteworthy to mention that my journey to these Kuwaiti landmarks was arranged with Tratoli. Unfortunately, the Martyr Museum presented a majestic exterior but I was unable to explore its interior treasures due to its early closure, leaving me with the feeling of having paid the full price for merely half the experience. For those with spare time or a keen interest in Kuwait's history or cultural heritage, this tour could offer some value. Alternatively, one could consider the convenience and flexibility of self-driving to these sites.
I highly recommend this insightful tour of Kuwait's renowned historical and cultural attractions, curated by Tratoli. The expertise provided by our guide, Waleed, was invaluable, particularly at the Al Qurain Martyr Museum where onsite information is sparse. His willingness to share his extensive knowledge of Kuwait's lifestyle, cultural nuances, and historical and political narrative greatly elevated our experience. Visiting the Oil and Gas Exhibition proved to be a highlight, where the displays were not only informative but also a testament to Kuwait's economic progress powered by its oil and gas industry. The interactive exhibits, complemented by an impactful video detailing the environmental aftermath of the Gulf War, were both educational and poignant. Beyond these experiences, Waleed generously offered to guide us through a variety of other significant locations, including a proposed visit to the traditional markets and museums—a testament to the tour's comprehensive nature. However, after having previously explored these and feeling slightly weary, I appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary. The tour concluded on a high note with a delightful Persian dinner, which, while not part of the package, was a wonderful way to wrap up our cultural journey. This tour is a perfect accompaniment for travelers who have already visited Kuwait's more famous sites, such as the beaches, iconic towers, and bustling old souk, and are now looking to delve deeper into the country's rich heritage.
"The museum, offering free entry, delves into the fascinating world of petroleum, enlightening visitors on its origins, extraction processes, composition, and treatment methods. This engaging and informative attraction presents aspects of the oil industry that typically remain obscure to the general public. The educational tour is expertly guided by multi-lingual hostesses fluent in both English and Arabic, making it an essential experience. Our pleasant journey of discovery was seamlessly arranged through Tratoli, enhancing our understanding of an integral resource that powers our everyday lives. This destination is a must-visit for anyone eager to expand their knowledge."
