Right from the onset, what was meant to be a enriching travel experience began with a seating confusion when other passengers claimed the seats my daughter had temporarily reserved with her bag, resulting in our family being scattered throughout the bus. Despite our guide's intervention, he applied minimal effort, and ultimately, we remained separated. The tour catered primarily to local language speakers, which left us, along with the few other English speakers, at a significant disadvantage. The guide's interactions were limited to essential announcements, with no enriching commentary provided in English—a stark contrast to the thorough insights we desired. Our children's anticipation of exploring the city turned to disappointment as the language barrier kept them from engaging with the culture and history.
