Our tour of the stunning Vallée de Mai, booked through Tratoli, was incredibly picturesque, although we wished it could have been longer. We must commend the guide and the team, who were exceptional—clearly a top-tier crew that elevated our experience.

Guiding us through the tour was Staina, a guide who exemplified both conscientiousness and patience—truly exceptional in ensuring our experience was memorable. Our tour even included a stopover for lunch at the picturesque Anse Marron Beach, a slice of paradise where we dined surrounded by beauty. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters with little tropical fish flitting around us was simply magical. A heartfelt thank you for crafting such brilliant memories that will last a lifetime.

The trekking experience we embarked on was truly memorable, yet I would advise that it might be challenging for those of an advanced age or with limited mobility, especially for those over 60 like ourselves. Even though traversing the rugged terrain—scaling boulders and squeezing through tight spaces—proved demanding, the awe-inspiring natural landscapes were a splendid reward, complemented by the refreshing Nature pool at Anse Maron. Our guide, provided by Tratoli, was outstanding, ensuring we completed the journey safely and with a sense of achievement. Particularly encouraging was the warm hospitality shown by our guides and the delightful light lunch that was provided. While the natural beauty was a highlight and I'm elated to have participated in this adventure, I would highly recommend it to the younger and more physically agile demographic. A word of caution to potential adventurers: the journey includes passages that may not accommodate those of a larger build due to the narrow confines along the route.
