My family, including my husband, two children, and myself, recently enjoyed an enchanting island tour of Floripa on the 20th of August, 2024, courtesy of Tratoli. Originally hailing from Santa Catarina and now residing in Canada, it had been over two decades since my last Florianópolis visit. I was mesmerized once again by the city's stunning beauty! The tour provided us with a perfect itinerary to explore the island's iconic landmarks. The quaint charm of Santo Antônio de Lisboa swept me away, invoking a sense of being in Portugal. I recently booked a travel package through Tratoli, yet I'm conflicted about leaving this review. My experience was overshadowed by an embarrassing incident I endured on the bus, which left me still reeling from the discomfort. Our guide, Nivia Maria, was the source of this embarrassment. Due to my comorbidity, I move more slowly and, following lunch, we went to purchase a cold-weather shirt, which resulted in me being 8 minutes late—despite us having spare time, considering our brief visits at both the Project Tamar beach and the Ingleses beach, the latter of which we couldn’t even disembark from the bus due to a road closure. Though I had previously informed the company of my physical limitation, all I encountered for my delay was a massive scolding from Nivia Maria in front of everyone, which was utterly unprofessional. This incident was especially humiliating, given that I am 61 and my sister is 77. It was a situation where I did not know where to turn. Interestingly, at a viewpoint, our group, in fact, exceeded the allocated time by 10 minutes with no remark made about it. Despite the regrettable incident, I must suggest that...
