The journey began on a sour note with the arrival of an antiquated, noisy bus replete with basic, uncomfortable seating. The disarray and lack of cleanliness within the bus, characterized by scattered personal items and old coffee cups, failed to meet even the most basic of standards one might expect for a pleasant trip. Once aboard, we received surprising news: the anticipated visit to the lavender farm was canceled without prior notice, despite the tour operator Autopia's awareness of this change days in advance. Instead, Yanchep National Park served as a disappointing alternative, and no effort was made to inform or offer adjustments to those with pre-purchased tickets. This lack of communication highlighted a disregard for customer care. The promise of sampling "local produce" went unfulfilled. Our lunch stop at the Lobster Shack necessitated additional expenses as we paid for our own meals, diverging from expectations set by the tour's advertised inclusions. The highlight of the excursion, the Pinnacles, also fell short of expectations. Instead of the promised "guided walk," we were merely shown basic amenities and then left to explore independently, with strict instructions to return within an hour. Time was another area where the experience did not live up to expectations. The tour, though advertised as a nine-hour exploration, concluded prematurely, bringing us back to Perth an hour ahead of schedule. Considering other available Pinnacle tours that offer enhanced value with meals and wine or barbecue options at a lower cost, the premium price of this Autopia tour did not reflect the quality received. Disheartened by the entire experience and Trip Advisor's affiliation with Autopia, I cannot endorse this tour company. Travelers looking for a memorable Pinnacle adventure are advised to seek alternative options that ensure transparency, customer satisfaction, and a true reflection of the advertised experience.
