During our recent excursion arranged through Tratoli, we had the immense pleasure of being accompanied by Alex, an exceptional guide whose humorous delivery of Macedonian and Balkan history and cultural knowledge significantly enriched our journey. The scenic boat cruise along the canyon was a highlight, unveiling striking beauty and granting us the opportunity to explore an enigmatic cave. While we did anticipate a leisurely coffee break, it was unfortunately curtailed due to tardy service. Our itinerary also included a captivating church visit that boasted a picturesque vista, although we were unable to ascend via the cable car to the famed cross due to timing restrictions—it's closed on the last Tuesday of every month. Instead, we were directed to an alternative city overlook, which offered satisfactory views. On the whole, the tour proved valuable, imparting lasting memories and experiences. Nevertheless, its length felt slightly extended, with our return timed around 15:30.
