Our guide and culinary instructor, Karima, was outstanding, leading us through the vibrant market stalls to hand-pick fresh ingredients. After our market adventure, we were welcomed into her charming riad for an immersive cooking lesson. The class attracted a diverse and delightful group from Italy, Canada, France, and Wales, all of whom Karima skillfully engaged, switching between languages with ease. Karima began by revealing the secrets to making a perfect traditional mint tea. This aromatic introduction set the stage for a hands-on cooking experience where we learned to create a succulent chicken tagine, a vibrant tomato & pepper salad, and a delectably sweet cinnamon orange dessert. Working in pairs, we shared laughter and culinary tips, culminating in a group tasting session where we savored the fruits of our labor. The entire experience was meticulously organized by Tratoli, enhancing our Moroccan adventure. We had a delightful experience when we opted for the Private Cabin, providing us with added comfort. The cabin was well-maintained, boasting cleanliness, and offered the perfect escape from the crowds. We found the transition to the various attractions to be smooth and seamless. The meal provided, especially the Burger, was satisfactory and reasonably priced. However, there were a few downsides to our experience. Unfortunately, breakfast was not included in our travel package from Tratoli, which was a bit of a letdown. We would have relished the opportunity to start our day with a pancake and fresh orange juice, but pancake service didn't commence until 3pm. We had to settle for a less-than-ideal alternative – a packet of chips. On the plus side, the pool with its wave feature was a highlight, offering warmth and an array of enjoyable attractions. It was a genuine treat that added to the enjoyment of our getaway. 🙏💗
