Madagascar Tour From Amsterdam

Our group of 9 embarked on an extraordinary 15-day journey through Madagascar, masterfully arranged by Tratoli, from August 26 to September 10. This tour, which included the majestic Baobab Coast and spanned from Tana to Tuléar, featured a captivating Tsiribihina river descent, exploration of the awe-inspiring Tsingy, and tranquil moments by the Ifaty lagoons. Tratoli proved to be a highly reliable and professional agency, showcasing their exemplary ability to tailor our travel to include humanitarian efforts seamlessly alongside our sightseeing pursuits. They went above and beyond in supporting our philanthropic mission, assisting with the procurement and transport of vast quantities of provisions—such as cooking pots, utensils, rice, grains, oil, and sardines—essential for preparing a communal meal for over 300 villagers. Impressively, the agency even provided upfront funding for the zebu meat, coordinating its preparation in partnership with local leaders, ensuring a well-executed community feast. The agency's devotion shone through as they facilitated the distribution of roughly 170 kg of clothing, toys, books, stationery, hygiene products, and eyeglasses, in addition to local purchases of rice and beans for village communities. The three-day cruise on a barge down the Tsiribihina was a standout experience, complete with exceptional staff, musical entertainment, and delectable cuisine. Our visits to Tsingy National Park were meticulously organized, featuring guides who were both highly knowledgeable and considerate, heightening our experience of the iconic Baobabs, Belo sur Mer, and Ifaty. Compliments to the entire team at Tratoli for orchestrating an unforgettable voyage, brimming with rich cultural encounters and natural wonders. It was a travel experience that was as rewarding as it was enriching, illustrating their remarkable expertise in crafting tailor-made adventures that resonate deeply with their customers’ desires.

Embarking on an adventure to Madagascar's northern treasures through Tratoli was nothing short of amazing. The experience of trekking amidst the lush landscapes of Montagne d'Ambre National Park was a highlight, with encounters featuring adorable lemurs, vibrant chameleons, and cascading waterfalls truly captivating us. Despite the intense humidity of the jungle, its beauty was unparalleled. Armed with detailed insights from Boutique Travel Experts, we were well-prepared for Madagascar's rustic charm and immersed ourselves fully in exploring its majestic national parks and gaining a glimpse of the island's rich environment. One lingering thought, however, is a longing for more time in Nosy Be. Given the extensive array of activities and the sheer beauty of its surrounding islets, an extended stay beyond three days would have been ideal to appreciate the full splendor of this idyllic destination.

My trekking adventure in Andringitra Park was a remarkable experience, all seamlessly organized by Tratoli. With the expert guidance of Manal over the course of three unforgettable days, we embarked on a nature-filled journey that started with a 4x4 drive from Ambalavao. Manal was not just a guide; he oversaw every detail, including the procurement of supplies and the coordination of support staff like the porter and chef. The landscapes we encountered were breathtaking, and the culinary delights served throughout were top-notch, truly enhancing our outdoor escapade. I'm filled with gratitude for being thoroughly pampered on this trek. A heartfelt thanks for an exceptional trip!

Subject: Memorable Journey from Antananarivo to Tulear with a Pristine Beach Getaway My recent adventure along the RN7, meticulously organized by Tiana from Sudmadatreck and booked through Tratoli, took me from Antananarivo to the north of Tulear and finally to Ankasy. The journey unveiled Madagascar's mesmerizing landscapes, with stopovers in Fianaranstsoa, Ishalo, Ifaty, Ankasy, Anakao, and a convenient return flight to Antananarivo. The tour struck a perfect balance between comfort and affordability, with stays at select hotels like the Relais de La Reine in Isalo, Kokoa Sands in Ankasy/Tsiandamba, and the upgraded Lalandaka lodge beach bungalow in Anakao, which offered a breathtaking lagoon view. Aboard a well-maintained 4x4, my capable driver/guide enriched the experience with insights into the diverse tribal cultures along the route and recommended superb local spots. In Isalo, a visit to the national park was complemented by a picturesque picnic lunch. The untouched coral sand beaches of Ankasy/Tsiandamba presented a serene escape, with exceptional hospitality from our hosts Perle and Jean Michel, and culinary delights that completed the idyllic setting. The anticipation built as we approached Anakao, where a morning boat ride from Tulear across Baie St Augustine marked the start of another chapter in this picturesque saga. Opting for a flight back to Antananarivo was a wise decision that suited my tight schedule. I extend heartfelt thanks to Tiana for orchestrating this flawless travel plan. This harmonious blend of exploration, cultural discovery, and relaxation could not have been achieved without her commendable expertise in crafting personalized travel experiences.
