Our unforgettable adventure, arranged by Tratoli, was everything we could have hoped for! Our group of four was led by Jeff, an exceptionally kind, attentive, and well-prepared guide. His comprehensive explanations, along with the thoughtful provision of specialized clothing like boots and slippers, enhanced our comfort. Notably, Jeff's Canadian origins are complemented by his extensive knowledge of Finland, where he has resided for many years. The journey to the national park was a delight, thanks to the comfort of the minivan. The hiking experience was accessible and enjoyable, leading us to a picturesque lunch spot by the lake after an hour's walk along a well-maintained trail. Along the way, we engaged in mushroom foraging and bird watching. Jeff skillfully prepared a delicious lunch for us in a designated grilling area. The sauna experience was equally remarkable, featuring three different outdoor smoke saunas, each at varying temperatures—the most intense reaching up to 134 degrees. I wholeheartedly suggest embracing the tradition of cooling off in the lake after the sauna and then unwinding on the bench. Although you might feel a bit dizzy initially, the sensation quickly subsides, leaving you with an invaluable sense of well-being. Conveniently, there is even a hairdryer provided in the changing room. Our day was sheer perfection. From the serene getaway from urban life to the comfortable and relaxing environment, this experience is one I would eagerly recommend to others.
