My experience with a Gyeongju one-day tour, booked through Tratoli, was enriching and delightful, although an overnight stay would have allowed for a more comprehensive exploration of the historic city over two days. Our guide, Ms. Han, brought the journey to life with her impressive knowledge, gracious demeanor, and fluency in English. Comfortably seated in a seven-seater vehicle, we navigated Gyeongju's treasures with ease. The itinerary showcased flexibility, presenting opportunities to personalize our experience, which is something to consider for future visitors. The highlight for me was the Silla tombs, as well as the exquisite Seokguram Grotto. Given additional time, I would have added Anapji Pond to the agenda and recommend starting with the Gyeongju National Museum to gain a foundational understanding of the area's rich history, although this particular site was not included in our package. Overall, I would emphatically endorse this tour for anyone interested in delving into the heart of Gyeongju's cultural legacy.
