Museum of the Future
Dubai's calligraphy-clad torus on Sheikh Zayed Road — an immersive, exhibition-led look at 2071: space living, ecosystems, wellness and near-future tech.

What it actually is
Less a museum than a staged experience: you 'board' a space station in 2071, tour an archive of endangered ecosystems, and descend through floors on wellness, food and near-future technology. The storytelling is theatrical and the production values are the point — it's closer to a very intelligent theme-park pavilion than a collection of exhibits.
The building itself — a stainless-steel torus inscribed with Arabic calligraphy — is among the most photographed structures in the city; the classic angle is from the Emirates Towers Metro bridge across the road.
Planning your visit
Entry is timed and capacity is deliberately limited, which keeps the experience calm but means popular dates sell out one to two weeks ahead. Book before you fly, take the first slot of the day if you can, and allow two to three hours. The Future Heroes floor is designed for under-10s, making this one of the few 'serious' attractions that genuinely works for young families.
Good to know
- Book 1–2 weeks ahead — it regularly sells out.
- The building's exterior photographs best from the Emirates Towers Metro bridge.
