- Marienplatz: The Heart of Munich. Right here, in the vibrant pulse of the city, stands Marienplatz. This historic square has been Munich's central hub for centuries, famed for its stunning New Town Hall with the iconic Glockenspiel and lively atmosphere. It's the perfect starting point for our exploration of this incredible city! We have our short intro here before we start the bike tour.
- We do a quick stop here for our guests to purchase water and ponchos and let you know where we are in case you want to rent bikes after your tour.
- The Platzl: Home of Munich's Heartbeat. This charming, historic square is essentially the birthplace of Munich's legendary beer culture! It's famously home to the world-renowned Hofbräuhaus, and its cobblestone streets are lined with traditional Bavarian buildings. The Platzl perfectly captures the essence of old Munich, making it a lively and authentic stop.e
- We stop here to tell guests about the Bavarian State Chancellory and the Hofgarten.
- The Residenz, a magnificent complex of buildings in Munich, was once the royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria. This sprawling palace houses over 130 rooms, including the stunning Cuvilliés Theatre and the historic Hercules Hall. The Residenz is a testament to Bavarian history and architectural splendor, offering visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the royal family. We ride through the Courtyards but do not go inside. You can do this at your own leisure after the tour. Admission is then applicable.
