Traveller reviews
★ 3.0 · 1 reviewsWe embarked on our adventure from Puerto Pañuelo, having booked our travel package through Tratoli. Advised to arrive by 9 AM for a 10 AM catamaran departure, we joined a lengthy queue to pay the boarding tax. Notably, identification was required for all excursion participants. Despite the departure delay, the new catamaran provided a comfortable and picturesque journey. However, adherence to proper mask-wearing was inconsistent among passengers, highlighting the need for more rigorous enforcement. Our itinerary included a hike to Lake Frías at Puerto Blest, but time constraints prevented us from walking to the Los Cántaros Waterfall, necessitating another catamaran crossing which, again, was delayed. The waterfall trail, abundant with stairs and lush vegetation, culminated in a picturesque view before returning us to yet another lengthy queue for the catamaran back to Bariloche. Departure delays persisted throughout the trip, with schedules seemingly disregarded, adding a layer of tedium. The return trip was aboard an older, slower catamaran, noticeably different from the outbound voyage.
