Itinerary
- Portinha 183 – a cozy café where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, a sandwich, or just a cup of coffee.
- Avenida Paulista is one of São Paulo's main thoroughfares, known for its cultural, commercial, and financial hubbub. Along the avenue, you can find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, museums, theaters, and cultural centers. It is also the site of important cultural and political events and demonstrations.
- Casa das Rosas is dedicated to various cultural events, focusing on poetry and literature. There are soirées, recitals, book launches, plays, preparatory courses, exhibitions and other formats that promote poetry and art in general. The mansion was built in 1935, a time when the Paulista region was occupied by mansions of coffee lords. Designed by architect Ramos de Azevedo, it was inhabited until 1986, when it was expropriated by the State government. In 1991 it was opened as a cultural space.
- The São Paulo Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral is the main church of the Orthodox community in the city. Its architecture is inspired by Russian and Byzantine churches, with golden domes and elaborate decorations. Besides being a place of worship, the cathedral also hosts cultural and religious events.
- Vila Itororó is a historical architectural complex located in the Bela Vista neighborhood. Built between the 1920s and 1930s, it consists of a series of houses, gardens, and sculptures. Currently, part of the complex is undergoing restoration and hosts cultural events, exhibitions, and community activities. Let's hope for a fantastic show on your day!
- Located in the Vergueiro region, the Centro Cultural São Paulo is a space dedicated to culture and the arts. It offers an extensive program that includes contemporary art exhibitions, theatrical performances, musical concerts, cinema screenings, as well as a library with a vast collection. Breathe culture in São Paulo.
- In the middle of Avenida Paulista, Parque Trianon is like a green breath of Atlantic Forest remaining amidst the buildings. There are almost 50 thousand m² of tropical vegetation, with flora full of exotic species, wild animals and more than 30 species of birds. The site has playgrounds, exercise equipment and a Tourist Information Center to serve the public. The name came about due to the existence of the old Trianon Club, until the mid-1950s, where today the Masp (São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand Art Museum) is located, located on the other side of the avenue.
- The São Paulo Museum of Art, also known as MASP, is one of the city's main cultural institutions. Created by journalist Assis Chateaubriand, the museum, in addition to promoting various exhibitions and having a collection of more than 10,000 pieces, by artists such as Monet, Picasso, Di Cavalcanti, among many others, also stands out for its architectural design, designed by Lina Bo Bardi, with four large red support pillars, in addition to the 74 meter free span. It is one of the city's postcards.
