Our excitement was sky-high at the thought of camping within the bounds of Etosha Park, where dinner under the stars was a promised highlight. However, upon reaching in the afternoon, a curveball was thrown our way by our driver, revealing our actual campsite resided outside the park's embrace. This unforeseen change resulted in an unexpected expense as we had to cover the costs for an inside-the-park stay and dinner, in addition to what we'd already paid for the tour. Despite assurances from Clarence about the quality of the external campsite, the lack of prior communication was disheartening. It's worth noting that slumbering within the heart of Etosha Park is an unparalleled experience, and for anyone looking to capture the essence of Africa, this is an element not to be missed.

Our guide, Henzel, from Tratoli, led us on an enchanting exploration of Etosha Park. He expertly chose the prime locations to showcase the park's wildlife, and fortune smiled upon us as we encountered an array of animals, with the highlights including a lone rhinoceros, a charming family of giraffes, and a majestic procession of elephants. This immersive experience unfolded both at water holes and in the wild, making it truly extraordinary. Our accommodations were provided by the Gondwana Collection, where our guide adeptly set up our tent. The dinner was excellently prepared by Gondwana, and the sanitation facilities were top-notch. Despite some initial issues with the payment app utilized for booking, the lines of communication were open and effective with Clerance, who diligently addressed and resolved our concerns. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Henzel and Clerance for curating such an exceptional experience.
